With us, you can cycle in complete freedom! The Communauté Urbaine d’Alençon has set up a number of services to make it easier to get around on the move and encourage sustainable mobility. Secure parking, lockers, easy and practical bike hire, cycle paths – everything is designed to make your life easier.

Bike boxes in Alençon

If you come to Alençon by bike, you can use the bike lockers.

Rue de la Poterne (behind the Basilica): 6 lockers and a repair workshop. They are freely accessible, free of charge and can be locked with your own anti-theft device and/or padlock. The lockers are not equipped with power sockets, but there are charging points 30 metres away.

Alençon station: 30 securespaces are available in the bicycle garage at Alençon station. All you need to do is sign up, by contract, at the Maison de la Vie Associative: 25 rue Demées, Alençon / 02 33 80 87 60

If you want to hire a bike to get around Alençon and the surrounding area, the Communauté Urbaine d’Alençon has 25 bikes available at 10 stations in Alençon and 4 neighbouring towns: Damigny, Condé-sur-Sarthe, Cerisé and Saint-Germain-du-Corbéis. The bikes are available 24 hours a day and can be accessed via smartphone.
