Over the weekend, Alençon Tourisme is organising workshops to introduce you to the secrets of Alençon lacemaking, a unique UNESCO World Heritage site.
Charlène Poret, an expert lace-maker in Point d’Alençon trained by the Atelier du Mobilier National, will be taking you through her workshops in a friendly, participatory atmosphere. She will share with you her passion and secrets for creating this exceptional lace.
- 2pm to 5.30pm on Saturdays (guided tour of the museum’s Lace section included)
- 2pm to 5pm on Sundays
Individual price €116 per weekend
