Dorine, that's what she likes...

Dorine C.

Dorine, promotion coordinator at Alençon Tourisme. "My mission? To passionately convince tourists from all over the world that Alençon is the place to be! Need some information about our promotional activities or spiritual tourism? You've come to the right place? And if you're looking for someone who knows the choreography of the L5, I'm already on stage! "

The atmosphere of winter in Alençon

What I really like is the winter season in Alençon, when you can discover the frost covering the surrounding countryside as you stroll along the Voie Verte or the Fuie des Vignes.

What’s also magical is the atmosphere in the town centre, with all the entertainment at the Christmas market in early December. There’s live entertainment, and you can enjoy a glass of mulled wine or a chocolate in the midst of the wooden chalets.

In the evening, I head off to La Luciole for the Thursday afterworks, to meet up with friends and catch a free concert by a new band.

The atmosphere of summer in Alençon and Alpes Mancelles

I love summer and the return of fine weather to Alençon. My perfect day consists of lunch at one of the town’s fine restaurants, preferably on a terrace.

Afterwards, I’ll take a leisurely stroll to Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei, a peaceful little village in the Alpes Mancelles, listed as one of France’s most beautiful villages. And in the evening, I’ll take advantage of Alençon plage to have a snack and a drink while listening to one of the free concerts or watching an open-air film.
